Has The Injury Bug Come Back to Georgia?

... Tanner Strickland will miss the 2009-10 football season with an injury to his right shoulder that occurred during offseason workouts.

A redshirt sophomore, Strickland made appearances on special teams and as a backup lineman in 13 games last season.

Strickland was the projected starter at left guard for this upcoming season. Junior Chris Davis will now become the favorite for the starting position.

The injury-riddled offensive line from last season came into its own as the season progressed, and it is now considered to be the strength of a rebuilding Georgia team.

Let us hope that this not a sign for things to come throughout the rest of the offseason. Injuries plagued the team a year ago and things...
