2011 NFL Mock Draft: The Dolphins Take Mark Ingram Like Everyone Expects

Article By on 14th March, 2011

Mark Ingram The Safer Pick For the Dolphins Offense in 2011

The Dolphins need a quarterback, but they have too many holes to risk their first-round pick on any of the quarterbacks still on the board. Therefore, they will pick Mark Ingram.

The draft bust record of running backs in the first round is a lot better than the quarterbacks. The Dolphins can try and get one of the several quarterbacks on the market in the NFL and take a running back here.

This will hopefully solve the Dolphins’ running game issues going into 2011. Having that solved will make any quarterback’s job easier.

The Dolphins have no second-round pick, so trading down could be an option if the Dolphins feel they still can get Ingram a few slots lower. Like everything else, we will find out what happens on draft day.
