Why C.J. Spiller is Not Needed in San Francisco 49ers Backfield

... in the first round. That would completely waste a first round pick. He's not a bad player, but there's simply not a need for him. People seem to imagine needs that don't exist.

One of the needs that that Spiller would fill is kick and punt returner. That need doesn't exist. They have Josh Morgan. He returned 13 kickoffs last year, averaging 28.2 yards per return. That includes returns of 52 and 76 yards. Morgan didn't return any punts last year, but I'm sure he could pick it up.
