The Philadelphia Eagles have $48 million dollars in salary cap space. That's the third largest in the National Football League, next to Tampa Bay at $61 million.
So the question is, where and how do we spend it? I've come up with some ideas that might enlighten us all.
The first place ideal investment would be in the coaching staff.
Sean McDermott's success on defense came against teams that had sub-.500 records. Jim Johnson's boots were hard to fill, and he will be hard to be replace.
There are a lot of unsigned defensive coaches in the league that would pounce on the opportunity to coach a defensive group that the Eagles have.
