I really don't forsee a holdout from any of the draft picks, including Ryan Matthews. I believe the rookie holdout won't really affect the Chargers at all.
Ryan Matthews had the most hype coming out of Fresno as a premier draft pick. But it seems like he actually wants to be involved in practice, mini camps, and organized team activities.
I believe the sacrifice to jump up 16 spots to get him was the only risk the Chargers have to take with him.
With LaDainian Tomlinson's departure, the Chargers could probably pay their six draft picks comfortably, at least their rookie seasons—$5.5 million is back in Dean Spano's pocket.
