This comes just days after the Redskins had Jimmy Clausen work out for them.

McNabb led the Eagles to five NFC Championship games and one Super Bowl in his 11 seasons in Philadelphia. 

McNabb had been hearing trade rumors for many weeks now, and the inter-conference trade may come as a shock to some die-hard Eagle's fans. 

The Kevin Kolb era is set to begin for the 2010 season, but he will have plenty of competition from current backup Michael Vick.
