The decision to cut nine-time Pro Bowler Alan Faneca and still pay him more than $5 million dollars to play somewhere else makes little sense given his impact on teammates Nick Mangold and D'Brickshaw Ferguson, as the Jets have developed arguably the best offensive line in franchise history.
