Make Way for the Jets: New York a Super Bowl Contender After Offseason Moves

The changes they’ve made send a message to the New England Patriots and the Miami Dolphins, letting them know they are going against a team that’s ready for a championship.

With the pieces the Jets put together, a Super Bowl seems closer than ever.

Trading a fifth round draft pick to the Pittsburgh Steelers and picking up Super Bowl MVP Santonio Holmes was a smart move for the Jets. Bringing in 1,248 yards last season, Holmes has dealt with problems off the field, which leads one to believe that’s the reason the Steelers traded him away.

Holmes will need to serve a four-game suspension before his debut with the Jets, but the upside is near.
