... New York Giants hall-of-fame linebacker, is set to speak at a campaign rally for Democratic Nominee for the South Carolina U.S. Senate Seat, Alvin Greene. 

Greene, a political unknown before his shocking victory in the primaries this past June, said that Taylor's support is a huge boost to the campaign.

"Having someone like LT, someone that's so responsible and so committed to their community, it's such an amazing asset," said Greene. 

"While I really don't know the guy that well, I see that we both have a common bond. We both share a commitment to making this country great," said Taylor.
