The Hall of Famer was taken into custody by police in the town of Ramapo after being accused of raping someone in the Holidome Hotel in Montebello.

Taylor, who is widely regarded as one of the greatest defensive players of all time, is no stranger to law enforcement officials. 

His struggles to overcome cocaine addiction have led to multiple arrests; the most recent of which was an arrest for hit-and-run back in November.

Police officials said they would hold a news conference Thursday afternoon.
