Not so fast. So far Delhomme has performed very well. He’s providing the Browns’ offense with direction and leadership. His passes have been very accurate. It seems all he needed was a change of scenery.
In two preseason games, Delhomme has completed 18 of 23 passes for 193 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions. Not too bad. His ability to find the open receiver has been excellent.
Delhomme has brought a much needed stability to an offense that bordered on the ridiculous last year. His ability to get the team in the right play is something that has been missing the last few years...
