2012 NFL Mock Draft: Detroit Lions Add to Budding Defense with Luke Kuechly

At No. 13 overall, they could have gotten the steal of the draft in Auburn defensive tackle Nick Fairley to pair up with Pro Bowler Ndamukong Suh, which may prove to be the most formidable one-two punch inside on the defensive line in football.

At No. 44 overall, the Lions selected Boise State receiver Titus Young, a spry, athletic wideout who can stretch the field.

And at No. 57 overall, the Lions could have nabbed another steal in the vastly underrated Mikel Leshoure of Illinois, a bruising back with surprising lateral movement for his size.
