Who is to blame in these cases?

Is it the players' fault or is it the agents' fault?

In most of all the cases, fans are quick to jump on the side of the player and say it is the agents fault in bribing/paying the players and ultimately costing them awards and perhaps their respective schools' wins on their overall records.
