The UF football team won on Saturday in Baton Rouge, La., trumping the No. 4-ranked LSU Tigers 13-3.
The win, which snapped a 32-home-game win streak on Saturday nights for the Tigers, was significant for more than the "W."
For UF students, the victory reinforced the notion that the Gators are one of the best teams in the country, if not the best team as their season-long No. 1 ranking indicates. The Gators next task is hosting an Arkansas team coming off an upset win over Auburn.
