The Titans are claiming that Kiffin "maliciously" interfered with assistant coach Kennedy Pola's contract, and that eventually lured Pola to the Trojans.

It wouldn't be a coincidence that the team suing Lane Kiffin would be from the state of Tennessee, would it?

Pola was hired back in January to be the running backs coach for the Titans. The lawsuit claims that "as a result of USC and Kiffin's tortuous conduct, Tennessee football has been damaged in an amount proven at trial."

The Titans claim that Kiffin violated Pola's contract since he was required to have written permission to discuss a job with anyone other than the Titans.
