... Brandon Saine, Dane Sanzenbacher, Bryant Browning, Cameron Heyward, Brian Rolle, and Ross Homan were named captains of the 2010 Ohio State football team today.

For just the second time in the 121-year history of OSU football, the team has six captains. The one other instance was in 1982.

The 2009 team had three captains, all on from Jim Heacock's defense, and rotated in a fourth offensive member for each game.
