There was the last minute fourth quarter collapse against Virginia Tech, followed by the 27 point fourth quarter triumph over Missouri. There was the humbling loss at home to Texas Tech, followed by the seriously numbing defeat by Iowa State. The Huskers then held on against Kansas State and Oklahoma to right the ship and give Texas and Arizona everything they wanted, and then some, in the Big 12 Championship game and Holiday Bowl. Thus, the question remains—what can Nebraska do to take that next step and earn a BCS bowl berth, and possibly even challenge for the National Title in 2010?
