... Mississippi State Bulldogs football team took a bit of a hit on Saturday night, when star running back Anthony Dixon was arrested in Starkville for driving under the influence.

According to the police report, Dixon refused to take a breathalyzer or field sobriety test, but was cited for DUI, careless driving, and no proof of liability insurance. According to the officer who made the arrest, Dixon's speech was slurred and his eyes were bloodshot.

Head coach Dan Mullen and the Bulldogs football team have yet to release an official statement concerning Dixon, but he could be facing a suspension at the beginning of the season as a result of the incident.
