Michigan State’s Spartan Green to Get Darker With Identity Change

And the university listened, the new logo was scrapped, and the current symbol will remain throughout the redesign process.

But the university will continue to move forward with the retooling of the Michigan State image, and the latest revelation is that Spartan green will revert to its pre-1997 shade. It will get darker from its current color and resemble more of a Kelly green.
