... watched every excruciating moment of that game.  Even when I swore I wouldn't watch another second and flipped the channel, throwing the remote to the other sofa.  Then I immediately dove over there to grab the remote to switch back the TV because I couldn't take my eyes off that train wreck of a game.

I had been thinking all week about how much I love the holiday season and football.  The Saints played on Thanksgiving and my husband's Patriots as well, so it was a double-header of good TV.  No outside family came to eat so it was the most relaxing turkey day we've had in at least 10 years.  Beer, tryptophan and football, that's the best way to kickoff the holiday season!
