Hawkeyes-Wolverines: Five Turnovers lead to Iowa Win, 30-28

... in a row last night to the 12th ranked Iowa Hawkeyes, 30-28, in Iowa City dropping Michigan's record to 4-2.

Turnovers were the biggest downfall for Michigan, with five in total that killed sustaining drives.

It began well for the Maize and Blue on the first play from scrimmage. Hawkeyes junior quarterback Ricky Stanzi threw an ill-advised pass in the direction of converted linebacker Brandon Moore, who then intercepted Stanzi's pass and took the ball 40 yards to pay dirt for an early 7-0 lead.

The Hawkeyes responded with a touchdown of their own with a 35-yard touchdown pass to Iowa tight end Tony Moeaki, which deadlocked the game at seven.

In the fourth quarter, things got interesting.
