The National Championship Gator team ranked ninth in the nation with 2,987 yards rushing and 42 touchdowns on the ground. Florida came with a balanced attack, as they had four players with more than 600 yards on the ground.
Superman, Tim Tebow, led the team in both yards and touchdowns and he returns for his senior year in hopes of solidifying his reputation as one of the best players in the history of college football.
The Yellow Jackets ran for the third best in the nation, 3,388 yards last year, as first year coach Paul Johnson mystified defenses with his quirky offensive schemes. The team scored 32 of their 35 touchdowns on the year on the ground.
