With Feb. 3, NCAA Division I Football Signing Day, on the horizon, universities gear up for official visits and pulling on board their 2010 recruiting classes.
For Penn State, having a top recruiting class isn’t something new. Close behind Oklahoma, the Nittany Lions stood in the No. 11 spot in the 2009 class rankings, according to Scout.
Top players included five-star offensive tackle Eric Shrive and four-star linebacker Gerald Hodges (who has been moved to play safety this season).
