With new coach Pete Carroll taking the reins and new general manager John Schneider as his sidekick, the Seahawks had maybe the best draft in the league.
In the first round with the sixth pick, they had a steal in Russell Okung, who is a mammoth offensive tackle who could start and make a difference.
Then, with the 14th pick of the draft, they drafted Earl Thomas, who by many experts was also a steal this late and could be ready to play in the NFL.
In the second round, it only got better, drafting wide receiver Golden Tate, a speedy receiver who has excellent hands and can return kicks, too.
