Much talk was made in the preseason about how new head coach Steve Spagnuolo had come in and changed the “business as usual” approach that former coach Scott Linehan had established during his losing tenure.

 

Spagnuolo was going to hold players accountable for their actions, or lack thereof. He was going to improve morale. He was going to bring about discipline.
