Well, Monday that future was all but confirmed as Rex Ryan announced, "He’s played himself on to this football team."

Although anything can happen between now and the final roster declaration, I think we can be quite safe in assuming that we will be seeing No. 55 on Sundays in the 2009 season wearing Jet green.  How much we will see him beyond special team assignments is unsure.  However, Rex seems to think that this undrafted young man from Rutgers has a bright future ahead of him.
