I'd Charge between 10-25 dollars per lawn, depending on the size of the yard. There was some risk in the job, true. It was hard work, true, but I never thought of getting rich off it.

If I had an agent, I could have worked out some shady deals with customers. I could have compared rates with all the other people mowing lawns in the area. We could have joined forces, and really drove up the rates.

When I got to around 150 dollars per lawn, I could have thrown a fit, and refused to mow anymore, because a guy on the next block was making 220 dollars a yard. I'd just refuse to mow until I got a similar rate.
