Jay Cutler Out, Leaving Todd Collins To Take Over Struggling Bears Offense

... Bears quarterback Jay Cutler did not return to the sidelines following the halftime intermission of Sunday night's game against the New York Giants. The unofficial word is that the team suspects that Cutler may have suffered a concussion and is not expected to return to the game.

That leaves veteran clipboard holder Todd Collins to run a Bears offense that was embarrassingly bad in the first half. The offensive line allowed nine sacks and, while Cutler was to blame on at least two of them, perhaps the Bears simply figured they had better get Cutler out of there before he got killed.
