Organizations literally spend hundreds of millions of dollars, and at the least spend a few years trying to get their team Super Bowl ready.
The Jets seem to have gotten virtually everything into place in just two seasons.

Sanchez, overall, did terrible last season. He was amazing the first three games but trailed off significantly after that. Those five interceptions were unacceptable. But he had gotten better as the season wore on and did a descent job in the playoffs.
He looks like a future quarterback for the Jets and should be a lot better next year.
