Brett Favre: Quarterback’s 297 Consecutive Starts Streak in Jeopardy

Article By on 13th December, 2010

... expect to play in tonight's game against the New York Giants because of a sprained throwing shoulder, NFL.com's Jason La Canfora reports.

Favre is currently listed as a game-time decision, and we probably won't know if he's playing until just before kickoff.

If Favre can't go, it will end his streak of 297 consecutive games started.

Perhaps more importantly, it would force the Vikings to go with Tarvaris Jackson against one of the league's toughest defenses.

Though Favre has said he would not have played yesterday and will not play today, I think we've all learned that you can't really trust what he says.

So until I see it, I won't believe it.
