Brandon Pettigrew’s Rehab on Track: His Recovery Key to Lions’ Success

Pettigrew, 25, is currently in the middle of rehabbing his left knee, after having surgery to repair an ACL injury he suffered late in the 2009 season.

“No setbacks or anything,” he said of the status of his rehab. “Minimal swelling because I’ve started running recently; I’ve been running for two weeks now straight ahead.”

That's good news for the Lions. They need him fully recovered.

Apparently, Pettigrew suffered a very similar injury to his other knee while he was in high school. That experience is helping him with his recovery, especially how quickly he can expect to be back to normal.
