... by the Chicago Sun-Times DE Julius Peppers is on the verge of being officially taken off the market. 

The deal between the Bears and Peppers is "imminent" according to the Sun-Times and will range for six years.  Other financial terms of the deal are undisclosed as of yet, but I will update as they become available.

The Bears have continued to be agressive in free agenc, and the signing of Peppers will mean they've successfully landed all three free agents they targettted this off—season.
