I understand Haynesworth is a tremendous force at the defensive tackle position, when he decides to play, but why bring back a player solely for the name—you can't say he had a good 2009 season because he stunk for the Redskins.
He only appeared in 12 games while accounting for a combined total of 37 tackles and 4 sacks. Not nearly worth the bank he made when he joined the Redskins.
It's like an ex boyfriend or girlfriend you may have had that ended on really bad terms.
Unless you are blind to the fact that it will never work there would be no reason to try and force the relationship to work ...
