2010 NFL Draft: The Rams Should Trade Down to No. 3

... many believe, there is no reason for them to stay at No. 1 overall. So, they should ignore the trade charts and make a move with Tampa Bay to trade first-round picks.

There are a few reasons that this would make sense for both teams. The Rams want Bradford and he will not be taken at the second spot because that is owned by the Lions, who drafted a QB last year.

Tampa Bay would be willing to make the move because it has been reported that they prefer Ndamukong Suh over Gerald McCoy. There would be some difference in the money payed to the first pick over the third, but it would not be significant. Tyson Jackson, No. 3 in last year's draft, was payed $57 million over five years while 2008 No. 1 Jake Long got $57.5 million over the sam...
