Top Rated RB Bryce Brown Leaves Tennessee

... (Rivals.com) rated running back Bryce Brown has left the football team due to 'personal and family problems'.

Brown rushed for 460 yards on 101 attempts in his first season as a true freshman with the Vols, while recording three touchdowns under Lane Kiffin.

Kiffin has since left the team to coach at Southern California after head coach Pete Carroll was hired by the Seattle Seahawks.

Many attribute the recent departures from the program to Kiffin's exodus.

Brown originally committed to Miami, where his brother, Arthur Brown Jr, played but instead signed at Tennessee after Lane Kiffin was hired.

Brown indicated he might transfer out of the program due to the change in head coach, but has until the end of the spring...
