The problems with the Big Ten expanding to a 12 team conference are many, but one of the most overlooked is that, if they have 12 teams, are they really still able to call themselves the Big Ten? Even a creating design team in the conference marketing group can't make that work! They can't be the Big 12, either, since that name is already taken. So let's look at some potential names for the conference if they do expand.
