... 2010? One good indicator is to look at loses over the last five years. Why five years? That is the maximum time a player has eligibility. A program will do a complete turn over in five years. This seems to be the most fair way of evaluating the quality of a program. This is not a ranked Top 25, but simply a predictor of the teams that should be in the Top 25 based on their total loses. This has been a very good indicator over time. It has almost always been closer to the final polls than pre-season polls.
