Was Ingram the most valuable player for his team? No.
Alabama's Ingram went out with a slight injury during the Alabama vs. Auburn game this past November, but did the Tide miss a beat? Not really.
Trent Richardson and Upchurch picked up the slack for Bama as they went on to win the game 26-21.
Ingram provided a powerful presence at the running back position for Alabama without question, but to say he was the most valuable player for his team of the 2009 season is a joke.
