... In about two months, legendary programs will take the field to bring glory to their school and conference. The SEC has won the last four national championships, and Alabama and Florida are favorites to make repeat runs this year. SEC teams mostly win with defense and speed (see Alabama last year), not with great pro style signal callers. However, in the 77 year history of the conference, many quarterbacks have shone on the college gridiron and at the next level.
