I myself was a bit apprehensive of having the spread offense at Michigan. When I think of Michigan I think of smash mouth Pittsburgh Steeler style of football. I was afraid that would be lost with this style of offense. After last Saturday's classic with Notre Dame, I can see that there will still be plenty of hard hitting at Michigan.

My expectations before the season started was that I was just hoping Michigan would show improvement each week. I knew they had a true freshman quarterback in Tate Forcier and I just hoped he would progress during the season.
