Vanderbilt produced two All-Americans during this 15 year span. Carl Hinkle (Center 1937) Hinkle was the captain of the 1937 team. Hinkle was an iron man he played 60 mins in seven of the Commorades games that year. He was named the SEC most vaulabe player. Hinkle was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1959. Bob Gude (Center 1941) Gude was a two time All SEC team member. Gude was often compared to the great center's of Vanderbilt history. Gude played a couple of years in the NFL....
