The Big Ten: Maybe Nebraska Has More of a Rival than Believed

Nebraska’s entrance into the Big Ten still fails to solve an age-old problem for the Cornhuskers, a football power that has no rival.

 

Colorado was never a rival no matter how much they tried. Kansas State got a lot of ink under Bill Snyder in the '90s, but the rivalry never took off.

 

Nebraska fans will point to Oklahoma, whose priorities lie in the Red River Rivalry with Texas. Nebraska, to Oklahoma fans, was more of a nuisance than a true rivalry of substance.

 

Have fun arguing the fact in Lincoln, NE. Having lived in both places, it is absolutely true.
