Texas, Texas A&M, and Oklahoma are staying in the Big 12 despite almost jumping ship for the Pac-10 and SEC, respectively. It's good to know that teams still stick with what is right instead of going with the big splash (LeBron, still go for the splash).

After Nebraska left for the Big Ten and Colorado jumped to the Pac-10, the Big 12 appeared to be left for dead.

But Texas stuck their horns in everyone's faces and proved that change is not always necessary, and that with their support, the Big 12 conference can remain strong (and rich).

And now, it's time for everyone to stop speculating. Unless someone has confirmed information, let's stop saying that "this team" and "that team"...
