While Tebow has not yet been cleared for playing in Baton Rouge, he took a major step in the right direction.
Should Tebow not be able to go, redshirt sophomore John Brantley will step in to replace him. The No. 1 Gators have a lot of confidence in Brantley, but he has yet to take any meaningful snaps in his college career. Brantley has been running with the first team in Tebow's absence, and the coaches say that he has a total grasp of the offense. Head coach Urban Meyer claims that the offense will not change much should Brantley be at the helm.
