... this year.  Although Boise State beat Oregon and has been the glamorous non-BCS school for the past couple of years, TCU has earned a bigger challenge.

I don't know if playoff is the right word, but something needs to be done to let some of the smaller schools have a chance at eternal glory.  Let the best teams for this season, not the best of the decade, play for the championship.

TCU has demolished opponents by more than 28 points per game. If that does not impress you, how about a winning margin of more than 16 per game over bowl teams this season.  They deserve a chance to play for it all, just as much or more than Alabama and Texas.
