In the meantime, offensive coordinator Steve Addazio will become the Interim Head Coach.

Steve Addazio became the offensive coordinator for the 2009 season when Dan Mullen accepted the head coaching position for Mississippi State University. 

Addazio joined the team in 2005 as a tight end's coach.  In 2006, he was given the added responsibility of coaching the offensive line and tackles, and in 2007, he focused strictly on coaching the offensive line.

In 2008, Addazio was promoted to Assistant Head Coach and continued to coach the offensive line.
