... in the driver’s seat for the SEC East crown.  They control their destiny which for many is hard to believe and accept.  Many national sports pundits still do not believe South Carolina can win the SEC East despite leading the division after the midpoint of the 2010 season.

Yes the Gamecocks have never won the SEC East since joining the conference in 1992 but this could be the year as if you look at the remaining slate of games and the various scenarios the logic shows that South Carolina is the likely suspect to wear the SEC East crown.  Here are seven reasons why the Gamecocks will represent the SEC East in Atlanta in 2010 based off some scenarios that will play out of the last few weeks of the season.
