Sheehan Shines As The Falcons Top Ball State 31-17

... rather than mid-October in Muncie as the Falcons Tyler Sheenhan threw for 376 yards and three touchdowns on the way to a 31-17 win over Ball Sate. Temperatures plummeted into the low 40’s, but it didn’t bother Sheenhan or Freddie Barnes who hooked up for all three of Sheehan’s touchdown passes. Barnes added 160 yards receiving and 12 yards rushing as Bowling Green dominated the scoreboard from start to finish.

Barnes and Sheehan hooked up for their first score with 12:19 left when Barnes caught a 21-yard pass putting the Falcons 7-0. The two hooked up again for the other two touchdowns in the second quarter along with a 44-yard kick by Jerry Phillips, giving the Falcons a 24-0 lead going into the half.
