Now if there is another Marino or John Elway available, there’s still a place for guys like that. Just ask Ryan Mallett, who found a home at Arkansas when Rich Rodriguez didn't see how he'd fit into his spread offense at Michigan. But with the evolution of the spread and no-huddle offenses, along with the return of the triple option, dual-threat quarterbacks are becoming more and more popular with many programs.
