Yesterday, the Pac 10 gave their commissioner the authority to pursue expansion. According to reports, the favored expansion plan involves inviting Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Colorado. Some Texas legislators are pushing for Baylor to be included instead of Colorado.
I think this would be a mistake, and to avoid it, the Pac 10's best option right now is to immediately invite Colorado and Utah.
